QuestionI have a Rain Bird RC 7a B 218161 controller that works fine, but has a noisy motor for the timer/clock. Would replace motor if I could find one, or open for other suggestions.
Thanks in advance
AnswerThanks for the question.
The RC series controllers have always had a noise problem. That being said, they have been one of the most reliable controller ever made. You can get replacement motors for them, however you may find it almost the price of a new controller. Replacing the motor may only help, the controller will still have some noise.
If the noise is just too much to deal with, I would suggest replacing it with a new electronic controller. The programming options are 10 fold over the RC's too.
