Question
I have a flotec water pump, the system works fine under manual mode. However, when no in operation the pump keeps trying to kick in as if it wants to start. I took the power source out to see if resets, to no avail. If I add power, it keeps trying to come on,.

You need first to check all of the electrical connections that involve the pump, the pump start relay switch, and the controller.  If this doesnt help, you may have a bad relay switch.  You can test it yourself, but I would recommend having it tested by an electrician.
