QuestionMy pump for irriagation is at about 400 ft. The water table is about 200ft over the pump. I am only getting 45 to 60 lbs of pressure from that pump & it can't get to the height that I need for irrigation. One day it gets 80 lbs of pressure and works fine and then the next day it doesn't. What does this mean?
AnswerIt hard to say without knowing the particulars of your system. If your pressure is fluctuating that much, and there is not a problem with the water table, then I would suspect a problem with the pressure tank, pressure switch or an obstruction in the line somewhere.
