Hi Jeff:
I have a 15 year old single station Richdel outdoor controller which gets stuck at 4pm, and won't continue - but the clock still ticks. I can't find any replacement models at the local Home Depot or Lowes. I can't find any online either.

1) Can my old one be repaired - what's wrong with it ?
2) Where else can I find a small, modular single station control small enough and yet is an outdoor unit ?

You are not likely to find any parts for the old controller.  You may have to suck it up and get a 3 or 4 station controller, which is about the smallest available nowdays.
I think Rainbird makes a 3 station homeowner unit.  If you cant find what you want at one of the stores, try going to an irrigation supplier, the ones who sell to landscape contractors.
