Question
I recently bought a house with this type of a sprinkler system. We go there every other week and I noticed that the clock is blinking as if there has been power interruption or a short in the system. Is there a battery back-up in this module to prevent constant interruption of the cycle? If so, is there a diagram online telling me how to replace it? Are these people still in business?

Hardie is now owned by Irritrol.  They used to have manuals available for thier older controllers online, but I havent checked in a while.  It may have a battery backup, but the newer units use chips to store programs and clock functions, so they did away with the battery.
