Question
I have a hardie rain dial controller. There don't seem to be any zones on it but there is an a b and c setting.
I want to be able to water my grass every other day while watering my hillside once a week.  Is this possible.

Yes.  The a, b, and c settings are separate programs that will allow the controller to operate the way you want.  For instance, you may want to use a for your lawn.  Just program it to the schedule that you want.  There should be some instructions on the inside of the door.  Then switch to b, and set it for your hillside schedule.  Remember to set the controller back to "run" after programming it.
