QuestionI had the pump housing replaced. I then replaced the pressure gauge, the foot valve, and replaced the relief valve (preset at 75 PSI, and not the same kind as what was there). The piping leading out to the foot valve was replaced and configured, via a four way fitting, so that the valve would angle up from the pond floor at a 45 degree angle. This was recommended by SmithTurf, who provided the pump housing replacement, as a way to help keep the discharge filter cleaner. When I turned on the pump after priming the system nothing worked. What could be wrong?
Thank you.

AnswerDid they check the impeller when the housing was fixed? Are all your connections perfectly tight with no air leaking? Make sure the pump is perfectly primed and valves are open when you turn it on. These are the only things I can think of that would make it not work correctly. Check the seal around the new housing as well.
