QuestionI'm trying to turn my system on (had installer do it the previous two years) the indoor electric control box is working fine, I openned both plastic globes (in ground) and turned the valve a 1/4 turn just like the knob says but nothing is happening, I've looked all over the property for a shut off valve and can't find one, my two hoses on eighter side of my house are working fine, can you help?
AnswerThere is either a valve closed or your globe valves are shut off. To check the globe valves, adjust the flow control (should be the large round handle) on top of the valve by opening the valve all the way, then close it all the way. Then open the valve back up 1/2 the amount of turns it takes to close it. Then try operating the valves manually to make sure they have water. If they dont, then you have a main shut off valve somewhere in the system that needs to be opened.
