QuestionI have a Rainbird ESP system and after the winter I turned the water back on using the main water valve connected to the city meter and 2-3 stations came on at once and never shut off unless I turn the water back off next to water meter. The control box isn't turning the water off or changing the stations no matter what position it's in. Should I call for help?
AnswerIf the controller is not changing the stations, as well as turning on stations and then not turning them off, I would think that you probalbly have a malfunctioning controller. You can replace it, or have it checked by a local service person.
One thing you might try is disconnecting the power to the controller for about 1 minute, then reconnecting the power and see if it clears up the problem. Also, check your valves and make sure they are not manually opened.
