Question
Hello, I just turned my sprinkler system back on after being off all winter.  All zones in the front yard and backyard appear to be working correctly except for one (zone #1).  Water comes out of the sprinkler heads but they do not pop up.  The water just leaks out the top of each.  I've tried prying one of the sprinkler heads up and when I do that, it sprays, but with very low pressure.  The pressure on all other zones appears to be good.  Typically, my landscaper turns the sprinklers back on in Spring.  I attempted to do it myself this year and I'm hoping I didn't mess something up.  Thanks.

It sounds like the valve for station 1 is either closed a little too much, or is not opening correctly.  Try adjusting the flow on the valve using the knob on top of the valve.  Open it clockwise and see if this works.  If not, you may need to dissassmble and clean out the valve, or replace it.
