Questionwe have the control boxes on the outside of the house that control the sprinklers. In one box is a red valve I believe the on off water valve it does not want to trun either way I am afaid to put too much pressure because I am not sure which way to turn it the red switch is facing north and south and the pipe runs east and west.
the second box has the circular valve that turn but should it be turned to the right or to the left. thanks
AnswerThe valves your talking about should be turned to the left. Make sure you have the pipe and valve braced as to not put to much pressure on the pipe. Sometimes those valves get stubborn after being shut down all winter. Remember, if the handle is running north and south it's off, east and west, on.
