QuestionHi Robert,
I was changing a few of my old sprinkler heads that were not so efficient, and i believe some dirt might have gotten into the line and in return is clogging a couple heads that worked prior. My question is, what is the best method for clearing the line and should i take the heads out and reverse flush them. So maybe that dirt will blow out.
Thanks
Matt
AnswerThat's a very common problem even the pro's deal with. First, clean all the heads. Second, go to the last head in the line of heads and remove it. Attach a hose with a fitting that fit's into the fitting in the ground and turn the zone on. Let water come out of the hose for thirty seconds or so and then turn the zone off. Remove the hose and very carefully replace the head. Turn the zone back on to test and then readjust the heads. Hope this has helped.
