QuestionHOA Condominium water bills for Oct/Nov excessively high. Water Utility Company records show sprinkler use last year/this year is nearly the same. Water utility came out and read meter for unusual water flow. Claims their meter does not show water running - no leak. What is our next course of action?
AnswerIf there is no leak detectable and the useage rate is the same as the prior year, then it would seem to me that the meter reading was entered into the billing system wrong or some other clerical error was made. I would complain to the water supplier's billing department.
