Question
I need to bond some type of 1/4" nipple into the side of an 1-1/2" and 3/4" PVC Elbow and would like to know if there is some particular brand of epoxy, glue etc that will stick to the PVC. The original nipples were what appeared to be pvc but because I can't find any I am going to us breass. This application is in a hot tub and I cannot remove the elbows to make this repair. I will have to drill out existing broken plastic nipple and istall new nipples in place. I know this is not an irrigation problem but any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

what the heck are you trying to do. It would be much easier if you could find the nipple you need in pvc and then just glue it. I can't think of any solvent or glue that work on plastic and brass. Maybe a product like PC-7 which holds anything. You might see if a rubber boot will work. Jim
