QuestionHello Jeff,
I have a area of grass beside a pool. Its about 50' long X 15 wide. It goes from the pool decking back to a fence. I am thinking of adding some pop-up sprinklers. I have a tap at one end I could use. Is it as simple as running some poly pipe and teeing off about 3 sprinklers. I don't need timers or anything. I am thinking I could just turn the tap on, and shut off when done watering. I would place the sprinklers along the fence and use a 180* spray pattern. I am thinking I need 3 sprinklers, poly pipe, clamps, threaded tees, and teflon tape, shovel. Am I dreaming or am I on the right track. Thanks for your time. Dave
AnswerThat should be OK, but I would use PVC pipe with glued fittings. They stand up to use better. Also, there are some good irrigation timers that are battery operated and hook up to the tap. I use them for watering my garden and they are very convienient.
