QuestionHello Mr Grote,I have an occasional problem with overflow from a creek that runs through my yard. So far I have looked into stone walls, cribs and dykes. What would you suggest that wouldn't cost a fortune? I am talking about 300' of a 3' deep creek, only one side needs to be leveed. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you, Dave.
Answer David, I hate to say but I don,t know exactly what these things are called, but the one thing I seen that looks cost effective is just a bunch of rocks and they wrap them in some kind of heavy chicken wire material to form blocks and then stack them like bricks. If you can't find them write again and I will try to find out what they are called. Jim
