QuestionHi,
I have about 200-300 Feet of 1/2" drip irrigation to lay in an already established landscape. The water source is slightly downhill of where most of the irrigation tubing will go. (about a 3 foot vertical drop over 100 feet) My question is: Do I have to have an anti-siphon valve just at the water source, or do I have to place it at the highest point in the yard?
Thanks,
AnswerTed,
Where I am the rule is that the AS valve sits at least 2' above the lowest outlet (sprinkler head). The rules may differ where you are. Check with a local Rainbird outlet, not a Home Depot or Lowe's, but a real outlet where they can give you good advice about local building codes.
