Hello do you know of anyway to make a homemade inexpensive weed killer that I can make and spray on certain areas of my lawn. The weed killer that I have always bought is quite expensive and gets used up quite fast. Can you help or do you know anyone that can????

Hello, firstly it depends what kind of weedkiller you are referring to. There are selective weedkillers that kill only lawn weeds, then there are un-selective (Total) weedkillers that will kill everything.There is no alternative to using selective weedkillers as they are very complex. Total weedkiller can be replaced by placing black nylon sheets over the desired areas of lawn and then weighing them down so that the wind doesn't blow them away. In just a week or so all the plant life will be dead- doing the same job as a damaging weedkiller!
