I oder several different types and hey were ship to me now I live in zone 7batimore, md. So i was wondering if its to eary to plant a hyrid tea rose, Widow's tears , Jacob's ladder, lenten rose, butterfy and humming garden and rose of sharon,rainbow butterfly bush.  i was going to planet in a week r son before the end of march is this good.

Hi Janice,


As a rule of thumb, always look at other people's gardens for the same plants. The buds or shoots of anything you ordered, should have be in the same stage of development.
If your plants came from a warmer place, they would have more tender buds or shoots. You would not want them getting any colder temperatures as to damage the new growth.

If that is the case, try to keep your plants in a protected place until the weather allows you to move them outdoors.

Remember that the place should receive as good a lighting as required for the plants you want.

Provided that you have the space, a cold frame could be built with very little money and time involved.
