AnswerHi, it is very true that planting trees shrubs etc will reduce noise. However best effects are obtained by using shiny leaved oplants with a dense growth habit. Palm trees are not of this type and will do little to help, however plants like the evergreen oak, holly or magnolias would be ideal.
