i am having drainage promblems so i deceided to deck my back yard i have a german shephard puppy can you give me any ideas what to put on the decking to stop it from smelling when the puppy goes the toilet thank you for taking the time to read this

Eventually, as you know, your puppy will grow into a dog and you may not want him/her pooping on the deck anymore.

It seems as if your dog should be going on the ground (not on top of the deck) and then the poop can be cleaned up after and thrown away. Designate a spot in the backyard for easier clean-up. Cedar mulch might help to absorb odors.
