QuestionI have built a 16" retaining wall in my backyard made of stone pavers. I have planted around 10 Arborvitae Emerald Green bushes. Now the setup is kind of a V-Shape and now i dont really have any plans for the corner part of the wall. I was thinking of a bird bath, or some other type. I dont want to install a water fall or something along those lines because the dirt is all level and i dont want to dig up too much.
Do you know of any type of perennial that would look good in a garden corner? Ive been looking online and cant really find anything that looks good. I have about 8 foot by 4 ft total space.Im open to suggestion and appreciate your time.
AnswerHey, Richard.
I can think of three plants that I always think look good in corners: holly, with its red berries; nandina, with its colorful foliage in the fall and its red berries; and just about any vine allowed to grow on some latticework. However, I am quite partial to a good water fountain in corners.
