Questioniv got a bunch of huge magnolias in my front yard. im considering making a screen using rapidly growing magnolias or other fast greowing shrubs or trees.

AnswerA few good evergreen choices for use as screens in Tennessee include Leyland Cypress, Japanese Cryptomeria, White Fir, Eastern Red Cedar, or American Holly...As to price it depends on what is on sale at the local nursery or Home Depot! Of course, the smaller plants are less expensive, but take longer to fill in. Spacing (and price) depends on size of plant, and what you'll eventually do - clipped hedge versus loose & informal.
