Question
Hi, perhaps you could answer my question. I'm going to install some outside ceramic type tile. what I wanted to know is what is a good spacing between tiles. some friends of mine had told me 1/8" and 1/4". so perhaps you could help me out.

Hi, thank you for your e-mail. The size of the grout line really depends on the size of the tile you are going to install. I am assuming you will be using at least a 12" tile. If so you'll want to use a 1/4" min grout line or spacer. If you are going to be using a 8" or smaller you should go with the 1/8" spacer. Good luck with your project, hope it goes well.
