I say fall is the best time to plant any tree,shrub or perennial plant.But you can plant a Cherry tree any time of year except I DO NOT recommend planting anything when temps go above 90 degrees in the summer months.It is just harder for the roots to get the correct moisture they need to become healthy.Good luck on your planting!
