Question
I have a new constuction home that has a drainage easement running through the back of our lot.  The easement is fill clay used to creat a ridge.  The house is a walkout.  When heavy rains fall, water will flow in the easement but as volume decreases pools of water collect.  The problem is the builder won't retrench the easement.  He say's it's our fault for not sodding or seeding.  Is their a drainage method we could install without going broke, that will help in keeping the water moving.
