I would just like to know about pruning the sago,,How much and when ......Thanx for you're time!!!!

Though I do not live in an area that enjoys growing this plant, my brother does.  It is a really ancient plant, that reproduces using "offsets".  Like most palms (even though it is closer in relation to the Pine family), you start at the base, and work your way up to the head.  Here is a website with helpful suggestions on pruning techniques.

I believe you can also remove the "offsets" and make your own new Sago Palms, which can be quite expensive from the nursery.
