QuestionI have a veiw lot, and my house is on a very steep slope, what kind of trees can be planted that won't grow to tall.
Answermany flowering trees will remain lower(30')---bradford pear, weeping cherry, dogwood, and many more. you could also use dwarf maples(bloodgood variety & others)<25'. my favorite for small trees is to pick a shrub plant(euonymous, lilac, crepe myrtle, and the list goes on...)prune it so that the you remove lateral branches and leave 1 to 5 trunks. shrubs will not grow tall and as long as you prune it properly it will look like a small tree.
get to a local garden center/nursery and quiz them on a solution to your problem. buy your products from them and they should be more than happy to help you.
good luck
