QuestionHi Laura,
My husband and I are extending our fenced courtyard out to
give us and our dogs more usable private space. Our problem
is, we have many very large pine trees just behind our home that
have shed their needles into our courtyard to provide us a floor.
I hate this floor!! But, my husband thinks it should remain
because of the constant maintenance it would require to remove
the needles if we had anything else. Do you have any thoughts
on a type of flooring we could use that would make us both
happy? It would need to be visually appealing to please me and
low maintenance to please him. I can't tell you how many pine
needles I pick up daily from all of us tracking them in. Please
help if you can. I can send you a photo of the space as well if
you'd like.
Thanks so much,
Michelle Zona
AnswerMichelle,
Approximately how close to the house are the pine trees?
And yes I would be happy to view a photo of the area because it makes it much easier to help people. My email is:
