QuestionHi Richard, I have just bought a water pressure jet cleaner for use on the car and paving.
Before I start, I thought I should check - the driveway of my house is made up of individually laid bricks of house brick size and shape in a herring bone pattern. I know these are usually laid on sand, and so am wondering - will use of the pressure jet wash away the bedding and ruin the drive way?
Thanks

yes it could if they were not installed properly. do not let the sprayer stay in one place too long. use a brush and soap(or other recommended cleaner) for stubborn spots. when done get to a hardscape supplier and buy joint sand w/an adhesive added to it so it will set the joint sand up like concrete so it won't errode so easily. spread the sand and follow the directions on the bag for good results. wet lightly after installing to aid the joint sand in setting up. it's all on the directions on the back of the bag.
