We have a small front grassed area that is always full of moss. We have returfed it twice, and now give in. We want to gravel the area but don't know how to start. Do we have to edge it with posts? We know we need to lay a liner.

* What is the space going to be used for? (parking,sitting area,play area?

*If it gathers moss then it must be a shady area and it is very difficult to grow grass in shade,even though there are grass seed varieties that do.
