Question
Hi -I am a novice gardener that has taken on the daunting task of building a rock garden on one side of my driveway. It is a sloped area that gets mostly sun and is well-drained. It was horrible to maintain because of it's grade (About a 30 degree curve) and it was mostly comprised of weeds. Soo..I dug up the entire area (About 70 feet long and approximately 5 feet wide on the average)and now am hoping to construct a rock garden but I am petrified about the design- do you have any suggestions on how to arrange the rocks? I have an idea as to what flowers I want to use. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry you are not happy with my response but you have to understand you are asking for design suggestions and since I can not see your site or speak with you about what you really want for a design there is no possibility of accomplishing this in this forum.

If you want instruction on how to design this is too long and involved for this forum also.

I stand by my "quick" suggestion that you contact a professional in your area and gain the knowledge you need for your project.  Sorry you will have to pay for it.
