Question
I am a single mom and want to have a nice area.  I have a condo with 2' wide/deep bed that runs the east side of the condo about 15' long.  I want to plant hosta but don't know how many varities to choose.  I am assuming I need to plant the small and med. size but am helpless beyond that.  Where can I get help without costing money?

Go to your local garden center and ask to look at medium sized hostas.  You should buy 5 plants and space evenly in the space you have described.  

As far as advice, contact your local extension office.  Many times they have volunteers who would be happy to help you out.
