QuestionI couldn't really see a subject to click on so thought this might be the best place. I placed marker stakes in my garden and flower pots using permenant black marker to identify them but now the sun has faded the ink and I can't see what they are now. Do you know of anything I could use to write the plant names that wouldn't fade? Thanks.
AnswerDear ES:
Good question! I have always used a No.2 pencil. Or you can get tags that are made of aluminum and you write on them with a stylus that will leave in impression of the letters. Or you can get very elaborate and have the names engraved in a formica-like material and mounted on small stakes. Try looking in the myriad of gardening catalogues. A.M. Lenard is one of my favorites.
Good luck!
