QuestionThis past summer/fall we installed a 'primative' concrete walkway with hundreds of pieces of Lake Erie seaglass pressed in the top for effect. Over this past harsh Buffalo/Southern Ontario winter the concrete held up thusfar but, MANY pieces of seaglass loosened up and fell out. Wondering what kind/brand of thick, viscous sealant I can apply to hold in the remaining pieces of seaglass while 're-glueing' in the ones that fell out?
AnswerJeff:
I like to use a solvent based sealant like Rez-Seal or Super-Rez-Seal.

If you cant find this product, you will need a quality commercial brand, but you usually can't buy this at a local home store. Try local masonry supply house for your area. Or you may also find it at some commercial paint stores. Ask for a high solids (thick) solvent based (oil based) masonry sealant.
Best of luck
