How do we fix drainage problem in side yard that is virtually level? Has 2 AC units sitting on it and ground level basement windows. Water gets deep enough after storms to reach bottom of AC units and get next to the windows, and ground stays wet for days after.

Hi Greg. I can't fully visualize this in my head. Is it possible for you to send a picture of this side yard? This would help me greatly. I have dealt with many drainage issues in the past with my landscaping, and would love to help you if I can.
Sometimes there is no great solution though. I have seen some pretty poorly designed subdivisions. ( Hence, the success of the sump pump industry ) Hopefully we can avoid this and possible surface drain the water away with a few modifications.
