Question
I have lots of plants in the pasture....with thorns and small fruit on them...looks like small watermelons...I have pulled them till I am sick of them. They keep coming back. I have cows and goats..They must eat the fruit only and spread the plants around. The plants are green and have a small fruit the size of a large marble. and the plant has lots of thorns. How do I kill this plant without hurting the cows and the grass.

And invasive weed like that I would just used roundup on a sponge.  The roundup WILL kill anything green, but just use it on a day where no rain is in the forecast for the next 2 days (and no wind).  It's the only thing that will definitely solve the problem.  Apply the roundup to the sponge and wipe it on the leaves of the plant.  It will be taken into the root system thru the leaves and the plant will suffocate and die within 4 days.
