Question
any suggestions for cheap privacy for UP AND OVER a 6ft fence. we were thinking of cumping bamboo? we live in zip code 11758. we are trying to avoid growth INTO the yard.

Hello,

Since you live in New York it may be difficult to find a bamboo cold hardy to your area. Im not aware of any bamboo that can survive minus zero temperatures or wind chills below zero but clumping bamboo can make a nice screen.

Another suggestion would be privet,arborvitae and juniper. Good luck. Let me know if I can be of further help.
