ugly catch basin cover by front porch

Question
I need help in disguising/hiding the ugly concrete cover for a catch basin that's right off my front porch. We were letting the ivy grow over it to hide it, but some of the ivy was growing down into the drain and we were afraid of it clogging. The end that is closest to the porch has a small open ditch drain that I lined with flat stones that must stay open for the drain system that runs down our drive and across the front garden and walk. That small ditch actually looks OK, but the concrete top doesn't. The top measures 41" X 70". Thanks for your help.

Answer
Letting the Ivy grow around/into it may pose a safety hazard, if you are creating a "trap" that nobody can see and might fall into....Just a thought.

As to trying to "disguise" it, sounds like it is huge!  3-1/2 feet by 6 feet is a large structure that you get to look at.    If the stones are not hiding it well enough (I've covered concrete structures with cultured stone or ledge stone masonry), try painting it a neutral color - I am making the grand assumption that it is on your property and you have permission to mess with it, of course.
