QuestionuI had my fesque yard replaced with bermuda sod approx. 4 yrs ago. This year I had about 50 bags of dirt brought in to fill the holes caused from roots left from the trees that were removed. I fertilized the area w/Scott's starter and planted fresh Pennington bermuda seed on July 2nd. As of today there is no grass. I have watered 3x/week plus we have had plenty of rain. What have I done wrong? Any info you give will be appreciated. Thanks.
AnswerBermuda seed takes a long time. Best to seed in early summer and may take 60 days or more to germinate. My experience with Bermuda seed is limited but I had the same experience you have had.
Just keep it wet and warm and give it time.
Good Luck
