QuestionSir,
I have been relocated from Kansas to floridadoing landscaping and maintenance for large military base accounts. I know little of this region and plant selection. I am in Pensacola Florida. Could you give me some good ideas as far as annuals to use and formation placement in my high visibility annual beds to boost my curb appeal for the upcoming spring?
AnswerI am not located in Florida, but here is a link with a generous selection of species to choose from:
Caple抯 serves all of Florida. Their website has a search function, so you can consider color, form, and texture of the 30+ annuals that grow well where you now live.

I抦 sure there are other suppliers, too. Just talk to your local wholesaler who can probably give you more names. Even John Deere offers whole-sale plants.
The Lantana is an annual?! Wow ?it is a perennial in Southern California. Placement depends on the plant you choose, but generally, 18" spacing is as far apart as you'll want to go, for a dense display (about 1 plant for every 2 s.f.)
Here is an additional link that has discussion of propagation, installation, selection, and care.

Hope it helps ~M
