QuestionI have a clay brick size 4.3/4 x 8.5/8 x 14.5/8. It looks like three pipes with a in inside diameter attached together. Two sides are at an angle like... "penne pasta".
Some friends tell me it might be a ladscaping brick, some a roofing vent, some a wine-rack tile. Can you help me to understand the origin of this brick and where I can find more? Please!!
Thank you, Emanuele
AnswerHi Emanuele
I have seen the type of brick that you mention in your mail but I have seen it used in many places; as a roof vent, as a drainage tube and as a wine rack. Therefore, I can't actually say for sure where it originates and for what use it was principally designed for. I would hazard a guess at the roofing vent, either to allow free air flow or to carry hot air from underground heating. Ask an architect directly as they will know.
I'll see if I can find out in the meantime.
Good luck!
