Question Mr. Radford, I have a new brick and mortar planter, 3 ft. high and 2 ft. wide. I live in a state with temperatures that can range in the high 90's and even go higher than 100 degrees farenheight in the summer and then below freezing in the winter. My question is, do I need to line the planter with something before filling with soil?
Thank you.
AnswerHello Angela. In this case there would be no need to line the planter with anything. However, clearly if you had the intention of filling it with water to grow lilies or other water plants you would be forced to line it with an impermeable membrane.
Good luck
