we emailed a question sunday as of today tue we still have not got a receipt, is this normal?

I am sorry about that.
The facts are:
 1. All questions directed to me at this site are answered daily. As at 6.00am today (04/17/12) there were no questions pending.
 2. I answer my personal email, perhaps about 2 or 3 times week; but certainly by Sunday at midday, all my emails at that site are dealt with, filed and cleared.
 I can assure you that there was no email from "Lorie" and any question raised about lawns and horticulture were from correspondents well known to me.

 Therefore I have to conclude that you may have sent the email elsewhere
 If you care to send the question to me at this site, I will do my best to answer it within 24 hours.
 Certainly you can request a receipt.
