Killing grass in daylily beds

Question
I have daylilies planted the length of my driveway in the country.  Recently, field grass, Bermuda grass, and some stuff that looks like what grows by ponds have gotten in the bed.  I have pulled and pulled but it keeps coming back.  It is dead now and I am trying to pull it out, but I know it will be back when weather gets warmer.  Can you suggest anything that will kill the grass but not harm the daylilies?  I have heard of Grass-B-Gon but haven't used it.  Thank you.

You can use something like Grass B Gon, but you may also want to look into putting in metal or plastic borders in addition to this. These are put into the ground and can barely be seen. That way, if the grass does come back, it won't spread to the daylilies. Putting borders in will also keep the daylilies safe from and separated if you ever have to use weed killer in the future. Let me know if you want more information about that and I'd be happy to fill you in.

Best of luck,

Steve
