KENTUCKY BLUE GRASS IN ORLANDO, FL

Question
Would Kentucky Blue Grass do well in Orlando, FL?  I don't care for St. Augustine or Bahia grass.  They require too much water, don't look well and appear to attract a lot of weeds/fire ants/etc.

I know Kentucky Blue Grass does extremely well in the Midwest (hardly any weeds/little water/very hardy/always looks great).  If your answer is no to Kentucky Blue Grass, is there a grass that would do well in Orlando, FL and is comparable to Kentucky Blue Grass?

Thanks for your time.

Answer
"In the southern U.S., Kentucky bluegrass is limited to the transition zone from North Carolina, through much of Tennessee, northern Arkansas to the panhandle of Texas and Oklahoma. In the western states, Kentucky bluegrass is grown with irrigation."

If you are prepared to put the resources into it, I guess it can be done. I remember seeing bentgrass for the first time, many years ago; it was on a golf course in Orlando. The owner had brought someone from 'up north' specially to take care of it!
Other grasses you may care to consider are bermuda (Cynodon spp.) Zoysia and seashore paspalum (P. vaginatum). Consider also the regulations that may exist to cover water usage and fertilizer applications in the area where you live.
