Question
I am new to taking care of a lawn and was not aware of the preventative grub treatment recommended earlier in the year. Yesterday grub did an incredible amount of damage on my lawn.  The damage seemed so brutal to the lawn.  I am not sure how to proceed from here.  I see grub treatment in the garage, but will spreading this after the fact help? What is my best course of action now that the damage has been done?

Grub control is complex and expensive. That statement was not meant to scare you but to state the reality. You need to be sure that you have grubs. What type are they? How many are there and is it necessary to control? What is the best timing? What is the best chemical?
