Questioni live in a beautiful subdivision for anyone that does not worry about mud the right side of my house is full of dirt real moist i would love to have some grass i have no color unless i put a pot of color out there i really don't like the idea of pea gravel but that seems to be the answer from several landscapers it very shaded but nice and cool with lot's of pest flying friends please help. what type of plants can i use for color.
Answer I have to assume that these landscapers have a good track record. You will get better advice from reputable professionals who are on the spot, or you can put them "on the spot" with your searching questions. I am too remote to determine why the ground is always moist, how much shade there is and what are the choices of plant material in the area where you live. For every place there is a right plant and for every plant there is a right place. This is particularly relevant for your situation. You will set yourself up for success if you choose wisely.
