Question
I have an area of my lawn that is part cement, gravel and grass/weeds.  I would like to permanently eliminate the grass and weeds in that area in order to rock the odd area.  I also have a TON of ants and what i think are aphids in that area that i'm also hoping to eliminate.  Do you have any suggestions?

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in products like "Roundup" will kill all the existing weeds. If you are sure that aphids are part of the problem, then you can be almost certain that ants will be present also. Getting rid of weeds and aphids will take care of the ants.
