QuestionWe have a rock boarder around out grass. It is a rock flower bed I guess you would say. I am wondering how to get the needles out of the rock? Is there an easy way to remove them.
Answer I have found pine needles to be very difficult in this particular respect. I suggest persevering with a leaf blower. The trick is to accumulate a "bundle" of the pine needles which then acts as a kind of sweeper, pushed forward by the blower. This has worked for me on roadways, pathways and turf itself. I never had the problem on rock borders/gardens.
